Reunion '07 was held on Saturday, September 29 in Joplin, Missouri. Thirty six persons paid for reservations and three had last minute emergencies. The committee was pleased with the turnout, although we had room for more, so please join us for the Reunion '09 on September 26, 2009 if you can.
At Friday noon, Top Eberhardt, Art Snyder, Ben Witham, Louis Feis, Margaret, and I met at a local eatery, had lunch and then assembled the exhibit frames at the reunion hall. Thanks to all who helped!
Friday evening we gathered at the Hospitality Room at the Ramada Inn for snacks, drinks, and fellowship; all the rest joined us. Thanks to Hans Kliphuis who gratiously sent the $ for the cost of drinks and snacks even though he had to cancel out at the last minute.
Saturday morning found us at the Continental Banquet & Catering facility for the formal part of the reunion. After the formal program, we broke for lunch, posed for our group photo, listened to music, viewed a video and DVD of Cam Ranh Bay and Vietnam in general, had prize drawings, and then had a great buffet.
Saturday evening, most of us again gathered at the Hospitality Room at the Ramada Inn.
Sunday morning, some of us had breakfast together before departure.
