were piled on the rear
ramp and this made
an "ok" place to
stretch out for a
while. Several
planes had
mechanical
problems on

About Us
The Company was activated at Ft. Lee, Virginia on July 5, 1966, as part of
the 96th Supply and Services Battalion. The Battalion history can be
viewed via a link in the LINKS area. In September of 1966, the Company
moved to Cam Ranh Bay, Vietnam, by way of five C130 aircraft, the last of
which arrived in country on or about the 28th of September.
The unit was commanded by three Commanding Officers: CPT
Howard Daniel, Jr., CPT William Steinhauer, and CPT Robert Klaver.
